Florena System Manual

Agricultural & Farm Management Platform

1. Overview

Florena is Nanosoft's web-based agricultural management system designed for flower farms, greenhouses, and export-oriented agricultural operations. It centralises crop planning, daily production capture, labour allocation, and management reporting.

Typical users: farm managers, production supervisors, agronomists, packhouse staff, and head-office analysts.

2. Farm Setup

2.1 Initial configuration

  1. Define farm sites, blocks, greenhouses, or field sections in Setup → Locations.
  2. Register crop varieties and planting cycles under Setup → Crops.
  3. Configure units of measure (stems, bunches, kilograms) for production and sales.
  4. Set up user accounts and assign roles (data entry, supervisor, read-only management).

2.2 Season planning

Create a production plan for each cycle with expected planting dates, harvest windows, and target yields. Plans serve as benchmarks when comparing actual production in reports.

3. Production Tracking

3.1 Daily production entry

  1. Select date, block/greenhouse, and crop variety.
  2. Enter harvested quantities by grade or quality band.
  3. Record rejections or wastage where applicable.
  4. Submit — supervisors may review and lock entries at end of day.

3.2 Packhouse & dispatch

Link packhouse sorting and dispatch records to production entries for traceability from field to shipment. Use batch or consignment numbers for export documentation.

4. Labour Management

Florena integrates with workforce data to allocate labour to blocks and tasks:

  • Record daily gang or individual assignments by activity (planting, harvesting, spraying).
  • Track piece-rate or time-based work for payroll export to Nano Pay where integrated.
  • Review labour cost per unit produced in management dashboards.

5. Inputs & Inventory

Manage agricultural inputs and consumables:

  1. Register fertilisers, chemicals, and packaging materials in the item master.
  2. Issue stock to blocks or activities with usage logs.
  3. Monitor stock levels and reorder points.
  4. Generate spray or application records for compliance and audit trails.
